Emory University 04-10-09 : Millsaps College (29-4) takes a 6-3 win over Emory University (20-12) at Twenty Field in Jackson, MS. Aaron Williams earned the win with 6 innings of work and Boomer Hudson pitched the final 3 innings to register his first save of the season. Hunter Owen hit his SCAC-leading 11th home run and Todd Barnthouse went 3-for-4 for his 4th consecutive multi-hit game. Millsaps is currently ranked #2 in the nation in the Coach's poll and #3 in the D3Baseball poll.

Austin College 03-07-09, Game 2 : In every great season, there are a handful of defining games and defining moments. While it is too early to tell if 2009 will go down as a great season, this game certainly has the potential to be a defining moment. There was the great relief pitching and defense that kept the game close. There was the constant battling to chip away at a lead on a night when things weren’t going well at the plate. And there was the senior leadership who produced in the bottom of the ninth to turn a 5-4 deficit into a 7-5 victory. The heart, guts, and team unity shown in this game added to the talent that exists on this roster are the ingredients needed for a great season.

Head Coach Jim Page--Win #500 : In the first game of his 21st season at Millsaps, Jim Page became just the 30th NCAA Division III baseball game to win his 500th game. Coach Page, a former Millsaps player who was twice the team's MVP and still holds the school record with his .487 batting average in 1985, has guided the Majors to 5 NCAA Regional Appearances, 12 Division Championships, and 8 Conference Championships.
